Radial Workhorse Jensen Twin-Servo 500 Series Preamplifier

An updated classic. The Radial Workhorse Jensen Twin-Servo 500 Series Preamplifier utilises the famous JE-990 circuit updated in 500 series format. Two 990 op-amps cascaded in tandem deliver 60dB of gain with twice the bandwidth and less than 1/10th of the distortion of single stage designs. This advanced design also replaces capacitors with twin DV servo feedback circuits to almost eradicate phase distortion. This is all rounded off with the two deliberately oversized Jensen transformers at both input and output stages to maximise frequency response- now extending from 0.5Hz to 150kHz.
