You�??ll each be assigned a potter�??s wheel, and after an initial demonstration you will be taken step by step, through the pot making process. Once you have got the hang of things, you'll be encouraged to develop at your own pace with individual tutoring still being given if it is needed. Around 1 pm, a light lunch of bread, cheese, salad and fruit is served. In the afternoon there will be further demonstrations after which you'll work larger lumps of clay, making bigger pots and exploring different forms and shapes. The workshop finished at 5 pm, and your pots will then be left to dry overnight before going into the kiln. Once they have been fired and glazed, your finished pots will be wrapped up safely and sent to your home address.
