The classic expanded. The Ibanez TS808DX Tube Screamer w/ Booster expands upon the iconic original TS808 design literally. Alongside the classic 808 circuit is an additional clean boost circuit with independent footswitch to take your playing up a gear. From light overdrive to gently thicken your sound to thicker crunchier tones the TS808 excels at them all and anything in between. The design of this section incorporates the JRC4558 chip internally- the exact same that made the original so special while the boost offers up to 20dB of additional volume to quickly cut through the mix at the touch of a button. One deluxe feature is the inclusion of the Boost switch which intuitively lets you place the boost circuit before or after the drive circuit. This offers unprecendeted tonal control from a single unit and adds to the luxury feel of this expanded Tube Screamer.
