Ibanez Super Metal Mini

A Tube Screamer on steroids. The Ibanez Super Metal Mini is the modern update and revival of the 80s cult classic the SM9. The circuitry remains faithful to the original which is essentially a more aggressive Tube Screamer where the 2 op-amps cascade into each other for harder clipping then with an expanded 3-band EQ section following. This means the Super Metal Mini can still do the light crunch the TSs are famed for when you roll the gain off but it can also do what Tube Screamers cannot and handles crushingly hot high-gain tones with aplomb. Remarkably versatile with the overdrive quality you expect of Ibanez if youre after something higher gain the Super Metal Mini wont let you down.
