Description Enterosgel® is an innovative intestinal adsorbent developed for binding toxins, allergens, pathogens and other harmful substances in the gastrointestinal tract to help remove them from the body. Enterosgel® is a supportive treatment for diarrhoea and can be used in children and adults in the following conditions: Acute diarrhoea (gastroenteritis) Allergies with gastrointestinal symptoms Irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhoea (IBS-D) Gastrointestinal adsorbent for children and adults For supportive treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with diarrhoea, allergies, IBS-D Free from preservatives, colouring, gluten, fat, sugar, lactose, flavours and sweeteners Ingredients Enterosgel is composed of Minerals and Water: 70% Polymethylsiloxane Polyhydrate, 30% Purified Water Warnings Keep out of reach of children For children 1-3 years old ENTEROSGEL® can be used upon advice of a doctor. The dosage for 1-3 years old is 1 tea spoon 3 times a day. Enterosgel can be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding. If symptoms of diarrhoea continue for more than 48 hours, consult with your GP or pharmacist. Contraindication: Intestinal atony (severe constipation due to bowel obstruction), intolerance based on prior use. Possible side effects: constipation, nausea, vomiting.
