Beer Making Experience Days: Bristol is home to a huge array of independent breweries, quirky
bars, and of course, great beer, so take advantage of its offerings
with this incredible 3-and-a-half-hour tour! Your knowledgeable and
friendly guide is a Bristol native and beer connoisseur, and she??ll
reveal to you the many sides of this eclectic city, making for a
fascinating evening. You??ll sample some of Bristol??s best beer,
enjoy its vibrant atmosphere, and learn some fascinating facts
about the brewing process along the way.
Begin by meeting your guide, Heather, at Brunel??s Bristol Temple
Meads station at either 12pm or 3pm. After a short introduction, you'll walk ten
minutes to your first stop. You??ll be
introduced to their most popular brew while you learn all about the
brewery and their range of beer. The hardest part comes next:
picking another two beers to sample from their selection. This is a
great opportunity to get to know your fellow beer-lovers and bond
over the social ritual of a really great pint. Next, it??s a short
walk to the next stop, a quirky little bar where you'll enjoy a half pint of keg beer along with a bar snack.
After this, Heather will lead you through Old Market while telling
you about the history of the area. You??ll stop at a small,
quintessentially English pub to sample a half of a cask beer of
your choosing. Suitably well-watered with the best beer Bristol has
to offer, follow Heather through historic Castle Park, and down
some quaint cobbled streets to reach your final destination, Small
Bar. Here, you??ll be able to sample two thirds under 7% from their
wide, dynamic range of beer.
This experience would make for a unique night out in Bristol,
and it's the perfect experience gift for beer-lovers!
