Then it's time to get stuck in. Beer brewing is an art which requires precision, so there's no time to hang around for too long. You'll help the master brewer to fill the mash tun with the milled grains which are then mixed with the correct level of water, and heated. Fear not, this brewery experience will not just see you as an extra pair of hands, your head brewer is an absolute fountain of knowledge when it comes to beer and they'll be itching to teach you all that they know - the more questions you have, the better! What's more, between each stage of the brewing process, you'll be tasting a variety of dark and pale ales, brewed both locally by the brewhouse itself, and internationally...and you'll struggle to find an empty glass at any point throughout the day! Next up is the transfer, re-circing and sparging - don't worry if this sounds like nonsense, your head brewer will explain all. After all of this hard work, you'll probably be getting hungry, so you'll sit down with your group to a delicious meal from the kitchen menu...then it's back to the brewing. As your full day brewery experience draws to a close, you'll be offered the chance to either take home a 5L mini-keg of Brewhouse and Kitchen ale previously brewed on site, or to return 2 weeks later to collect a mini-keg of your own brewed beer.
