The AKG H85 universal shock mount works with all microphones with shaft diameters between 19mm and 26mm (3/4" to 1") to protect them from unwanted vibrations travelling up the microphone stand. The AKG H85 has seen a few developments over the 100 model. The outside ring has been reduced in diameter the clamping range has been increased to accommodate mics with cylindrical or conical bodies or connectors plus the profile has been lowered for a more pleasing appearance.
