2 Hour Cornwall Surfing Lesson

Surfing Experience Days: With this wonderful Cornwall surfing lesson, you not only get to try one of the most addictive and exciting sports in the world, but you get to do it at a top UK surfing beach. Surfing is a whole lot more than just a sport - for many, it is a whole way of life. Of course, to get into that way of life, it helps if you can stand up on a surfboard, and that's where these fantastic surf lessons come in! The expert and experienced instructors will teach you the fundamentals of surfing, starting with land-based practice to get you used to popping up to a standing position. After two hours of practice, you may just have managed to catch a wave, get up on the board and ride your first wave!You will arrive at the Cornwall surf school and get signed in for your lesson. After you have been kitted out with your wetsuit and board, you'll head for the beach to start the surfing lesson. The instructor will first get you familiar with the board while you are on dry land. You will place the boards on the sand and he will take you through a dry run, practicing paddling and popping up to a standing position. Once you have tried this a few times, you will head for the surf to try it for real! Quite a bit of your lesson may be spent trying to just catch a wave and get up on the board (which is a lot of fun), but nothing quite compares to that moment when you finally get a wave at the perfect moment, start to move toward the shore, and manage to get to your feet. Hopefully, by the end of this 2 hour you will have gotten a feel for the joys of surfing.
